The US is offering to Israel more than $7,610 per minute in violation to the 1961 Foreign Aid Act to a country which has stolen American military secrets and deliberately attacked a US Naval Ship, killing 34 Americans
American Congress passed last week the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA2021) which allocates annual $3.3bn in military aid to Israel through 2028, If Americans Knew reported.
The act also provides $20m to expand US-Israel cooperation in energy homeland security, water, space and joint international development.
It extends authorisation for the US Reserve Stockpile in Israel by five years, increasing it by $200m each year. This is on top of the $1.8bn stockpile approved in 2014.
Meanwhile, the act included numerous other provisions which will benefit Israel at US taxpayers’ expense.
In addition, the 2021 NDAA sets aside another $500m for Israel’s Iron Dome, David’s Sling and Arrow missile defence system.
The total US military aid to Israel included in the 2021 NDAA amounts to more than $4bn of taxpayers’ money in just one year.
Breaking down this amount, we find that the US is offering to Israel more than $7,610 per minute in violation to the 1961 Foreign Aid Act to a country which has stolen American military secrets and deliberately attacked a US Naval Ship, killing 34 Americans.
The US has given Israel far more money than to any other country: on average, 7,000 times more per capita than to others around the world.
If Americans Knew said that no mainstream US media appear to have told Americans that both houses of Congress just voted this massive aid to Israel, a tiny country with a long record of human rights abuses, violations of law, systemic racism and damage to Americans.
