West Banker arrested for throwing firebomb at soldier
OCCUPIED JERUSALEM, (PIC) – The Israeli occupation police on Sunday evening kidnaped a child from the east Jerusalem district of Issawiya.
According to local sources, police officers kidnaped 17-year-old Mohamed Obeid near the eastern entrance to Issawiya.
In a separate incident, a Palestinian man was also arrested Sunday on suspicion of throwing a Molotov cocktail at an Israeli soldier at a military checkpoint in the northern West Bank on Saturday evening, according to a statement released by the Israeli occupation army.
A video of the incident shows a man emerge from a car at the checkpoint, near the illegal settlement of Kedumim. He approaches the soldier and speaks with him for several moments before pulling out a firebomb from his coat, lighting it and throwing it at the soldier, who dodges.
The young man then runs away as the soldier watches, without responding to the attack.
