Occupied Palestine (QNN)- The United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) said Israeli authorities demolished and confiscated 52 Palestinian-owned houses throughout the last two weeks in the occupied West Bank and Jerusalem.
In a statement issued on Saturday, the office said “the demolitions displaced 67 Palestinians and caused damage to 860 others during the period between 24 November and 7 December.”
On 5 November, the United Nations said Israeli authorities demolished 689 structures throughout the West Bank, including occupied Jerusalem, since the start of 2020.
The Acting Humanitarian Coordinator in the Occupied Palestinian Territories, Yvonne Haley, had said that the Israeli demolitions displaced 869 Palestinians and left them homeless.
