The Palestinian Prisoners’ Society (PPS) has reported that Israeli soldiers abducted, on Tuesday at dawn, twelve Palestinians, including children, from their homes in several parts of the occupied West Bank.
The PPS office in Hebron, in southern West Bank, said the soldiers searched and ransacked many homes in the governorate, and abducted six Palestinians, including three children.
It said the soldiers abducted Mohammad Hisham Sharif, 16, Ma’an Nayef Badawi, 16, and Qassem Mohammad Ra’ey, 17, from the al-‘Arroub refugee camp, north of Hebron, in addition to Noah Khaled Abu Aisha from Hebron city, and Nawwaf Sarhan Zagharna, 68, along with his son, Mohammad, 43, from the Ramadin town.
In Nablus, in northern West Bank, the soldiers abducted Abdul-Rahman Thaher, a director at the an-Najah Satellite TV, in addition to Hamdi Hamdan.
In Jenin, also in northern West Bank, the soldiers abducted Bara’ Hussein Abu Mariam, from his home in al-Jadeeda town, in addition to ‘Aref Marwan Shehab, 25, from Nur Shams refugee camp.
The soldiers also abducted Raed Sharaka and Kanaan Hazmawi, from their homes in Ramallah, in central West Bank.
On Monday evening, the soldiers invaded Bir al-Basha village, south of Jenin, before storming Abu Bakr as-Siddiq mosque, and took measurements without providing any explanation.
