Colonist Israeli Settlers Beat a Palestinian Resident, Place Caravans on a Piece of Land

Colonist Israeli settlers attacked a Palestinian resident on Friday morning by beating him severely in the Duma village, south of the West Bank city of Nablus.

Palestinian chief for the profile of colonial illegal Israeli settlement activities, across northern West Bank, Ghassan Daghlas, told media outlets that Israeli colonist settlers had beaten Palestinian resident, Mohammad Abdelhafeed, 28, causing him some bruises into different parts of his body.

Daghlas confirmed that Abdelhafeed is a resident of the northern Qira village, to the east of Salfit city of the West Bank.

He noted that the beating took place in Duma village, south of Nablus city, in the West Bank and that Abdelhafeed was admitted to the Rafidia government-run hospital in Nablus.

No further details were reported.

In the meantime, colonist Israeli settlers placed two caravans in a Palestinian-owned land in the Ma’dama village, south of Nablus city.

Daghlas noted that placement of those caravans took place on Thursday and that the settlers, who put them belonged to the Yitsahar colonial Israeli settlement, which is located on Palestinian-owned lands in the city.

Daghlas further noted that the Palestinian-owned  lands, which are adjacent to the Yitsahar settlement, have been frequently exposed to bulldozing and razing, apparently within attempts to expand the illegal settlement.
