OCCUPIED AL-QUDS, PALESTINOW.COM — The Israeli occupation police on Tuesday afternoon arrested five Palestinian worshipers near Bab al-Rahma prayer area at al-Aqsa Mosque in Jerusalem.
Eyewitnesses said that the Israeli police arrested a girl and four youths after Palestinian worshipers confronted an earlier settler break-in into al-Aqsa Mosque.
They added that the Israeli police assaulted the detainees before arresting them and transferring them to an interrogation center in the Old City.
In the morning, hordes of Israeli settlers led by the extremist rabbi Yehudah Glick stormed al-Aqsa Mosque and carried out provocative tours inside the site.
