Report: Israel attacked 34 Palestinian journalists, media sites

Photojournalists were targeted while filming Israeli assaults on Palestinian protesters

Israeli occupation forces committed 34 violations against Palestinian journalists and media in the occupied territories in August, Quds Pressreported.

The report revealed that attacked by occupation forces had reduced from 60 in July, the Palestinian Centre for Development and Media Freedoms (MADA) said.

It also found that the Palestinian authorities committed 11 violations against Palestinian journalists and media during the same period, compared to eight the previous month.

According to MADA, the Israeli violations decreased following a decline in anti-occupation protests.

Bennett: Truce turns Hamas in to ‘an even bigger enemy’

Naftali Bennett

Israeli Education Minister, Naftali Bennett

Israeli Education Minister Naftali Bennett warned yesterday that reaching a truce in the Gaza Strip would turn Hamas in to a “strategic” threat within a few years, Ynet News reported.

Bennet, who described Gaza as a “monster” during his speech to the annual International Institute for Counter-Terrorism Conference in Herzliya, said that Israel is buying time throughout its pursuit of the truce, stressing this would make Hamas “an even bigger enemy” later.

Officials working on a ceasefire want “quiet in return for quiet” because “we all want there to be quiet in Sderot, Nir Am, Kfar Aza, but what is the price?”

Bennet: ‘Lieberman chose to surrender’ to Hamas

However, he said: “The price is that we will meet the enemy in another two or three years,” referring to Hamas. “Imagine Hamas firing on Israel with 30,000 rockets.”

Bennet said that the late Israeli Prime Minister Yitzhak Rabin forged the Oslo Accords with the Palestinians because Israel was not strong enough to continue a conflict.

“I think that when Rabin chose to go to Oslo he thought that Israel had no strength for continued conflict,” he said, warning that “those who don’t mow the lawn, are mowed by the grass.”

Hamas’s leader in the Gaza Strip Yahya Al-Sinwar meets with leaders of Palestinian factions, in Gaza city on 18 October 2017

Head of Hamas Political Bureau in Gaza Yahya Al-Sinwar said he was sorry that Palestinian officials cooperated with the Israeli Shin Bet to undermine Palestinian reconciliation, Safanews agency reported yesterday.

During a meeting with youngPalestinians in Gaza Al-Sinwar revealed that several countries have attempted to undermine Palestinian reconciliation.

He added: “We were fought in order not to succeed in achieving reconciliation and I am sorry that the division still exists.”

He continued: “We recognised that the detonation of the vehicle of the chief of the Palestinian security services Tawfiq Abu-Naim in Gaza aimed to damage reconciliation, but we ignored it and continued our way in spite of obstacles and hardships.”

Al-Sinwar said that “we have never, and will never, lose hope,” noting there are two visions for reconciliation: “real partnership without any exceptions or a winner and the defeated.”

Israeli court decides to demolish Khan Al-Ahmar village

Khan al-Ahmar demolish complete

The ruling comes despite long petitions and protests by citizens and activists in the area, which is home to some 180 Bedouins living in tents near the Maali Adumim settlement.

Head of the Wall and Settlements Resistance Committee, Walid Assaf told WAFA that according to committee lawyers, the court gave the Israeli army authority to start implementing the eviction and demolition process, adding that there is a decision to prevent citizens from returning and living there again.

Assaf called on the Palestinian people to address the occupation practices and support the victims of such decision, and to stand in the face of all Israeli plans to seize the land and the displace the Palestinians.

“No legal action can be taken in this case, however, all we can do is the mass protest in the village in order to prevent the demolition.”

In the same context, the Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO) warned the Israeli government against any harm to the village of Al-Khan Al-Ahmar or the displacement of its inhabitants, considering it a war crime and a violation of international humanitarian law and all relevant international conventions and laws.

Member of the PLO Executive Committee and head of the human rights and civil society department of the organization, Ahmed al-Tamimi, said the decision by the Israeli High Court on Wednesday to reject the petition of the residents of the village and ordered the evacuation and demolition of the village was a politicized decision to mislead the public opinion.

Al-Tamimi said that the Israeli government’s decision to implement the Israeli Supreme Court’s decision to demolish the village of Al-Khan Al-Ahmar and expel its inhabitants, was a flagrant challenge to the whole world and a serious violation of international humanitarian law and human rights.

The international community, including the European Union and European countries had heavily lobbied the Israeli government to prevent the community’s demolition.

To their part, right-wing Israeli politicians immediately issued congratulatory messages to the court, a body they have often accused of upholding Palestinian land rights in favor of those of the settlers and the state.
The ruling proves that “No one is above the law. No one will prevent us from exercising our sovereignty and our responsibility as a state,” even though the ruling takes place inside the West Bank.

NAD publishes monthly official Israeli incitement report

The PLO Negotiations Affairs Department on Wednesday published its monthly incitement report, which includes examples of recent inciting statements made by top Israeli officials and military personnel to justify the continued Israeli assault on the Gaza Strip. It highlights inciting statements against Palestinian prisoners and refugees, the Palestinian President and leadership, as well as against the indigenous Palestinian citizens of Israel.

I. On the Protests of the Great Return March and the Ongoing Israeli Assault on Gaza

MK (Likud) Anat Berko (Facebook, August 17, 2018)

“Does the Zionist camp take into consideration that there are 500 ISIS individuals’ in Gaza today? Our main concern is to bring calm to the western Negev, there is no way to have a direct settlement with Hamas, only through Egyptian mediation! It is always possible to wage a war and topple towers in Gaza, or destroy tunnels and weapons’ storages….”

Minister of Education and Minister of Diaspora Affairs, MK (Jewish Home) Naftali Bennett, (Mako, August 14, 2018)

“This relative calm and the provision of facilitations is a gift for terrorism. The proposed plan to the small cabinet might lead to the emergence of another Hizbullah on borders of the strip. It is forbidden to give prizes to terrorism and terrorists without the return of our kidnapped sons”

MK (Yesh Atid) Yair Lapid (Twitter, August 9, 2018)

“I arrived today to Sderot, the people of the city didn’t sleep at night. It is unacceptable that the children of Sderot sleep in fortified shelters while Sinwar sleeps in his bed. In a short time the army must launch against them an attack with all its might, without any hesitation and without thinking, and without talking about any understandings…”

MK (Jewish Home), Bezalel Smotrich (Twitter, August 9, 2018)

“Ceasefire was a difficult mistake. Also a ground invasion without any value was also a difficult mistake. Either we raid to occupy and remain (we adjust the tragedy of Oslo: Gaza first) or we strike from the air and completely destroy everything that is related to Hamas in the strip…until they beg us to stop and surrender…this is the only way to bring silence to the people of the south”

MK (Likud)  Yoav Kisch‏, (Twitter, August 8, 2018)

“In my opinion, there is little chance for reaching a settlement. The security apparatuses, under the guidance of the Cabinet, should escalate and work with all its might against Hamas. This means reinforcing our forces and eliminating terrorist cells. We are not disturbed by terrorists, those killers, but we will make this our target. Let us remove our gloves. If we do that, the chances for a settlement will be higher”

MK (Likud) Miri Regev (Facebook, August 2, 2018)

“The calculation must be clear, if our sons are living in horror, then Hamas must live in horror as well. We must return to the assassination policy against leaders of terrorist organizations.”

MK (Likud) Oren Hazan (Twitter, August 2, 2018)

“For a moment I wanted to compliment the defense minister for his decision to close the crossings for goods, but then it was a slip off the tongue on those flying balloons “they are children.” So no, they are not children. They are dangerous terrorists, who do not only want to burn the fields – but to burn us alive and we must liquidate them.  Lieberman wake up – the south is burning, and if you do not put an end to it, it won’t end!”

II. On the Extrajudicial Killing of Abdel Fattah Al-Sharif by the Israeli soldier Elor Azaria in Hebron in March 2016

Elor Azaria in an interview with Kipa website, August 29, 2018

“Where is the killing? He is not a Palestinian he is a terrorist.”

In another interview with Israel Hayom, cited by Ha’aretz newspaper on August 28, 2018, Azaria said:

“I have no doubt. Bring me back to those same seconds of the incident in Hebron – I would have done exactly the same thing. Because that is what needed to be done.”

“I have no remorse. I am completely at peace with myself. I acted as needed. I went with my own [inner] truth. I acted in the most proper way possible and what happened afterwards [his trial and conviction] should not have happened.”

“Everything led to a moment’s instinct, everything came together and I acted exactly as I had been taught from the beginning of my training as a fighter. I fired one shot. The terrorist’s head was the only exposed limb [sic] and I learned in medic training that when the head is injured, it affects the whole body.”

III. Against Palestinian Prisoners

Minister of Public Security, Strategic Affairs and Minister of Information, MK (Likud) Gilad Edan (103 FM, August 30,  2018)

“The cabinet does not deal with terrorists who are only in jails, but also with the terrorists in Gaza, we have halted earlier the family visits from Gaza strip, and I have formed a committee to examine means to worsen the conditions of prisoners in jails in accordance with International law, Hamas prisoners are the ones who want to be in jails…”

MK (Likud) Yoav Kisch (Mako, August 8, 2018)

“Discussion over the situation of the Palestinian prisoners will be tackled in the committee’s meeting, we call upon prisons’ authority to attend the session, it is impossible to give the security prisoners; the terrorists’ conditions of recreation”

Against Ahed Al-Tamimi: MK (Likud) Oren Hazan wrote on (Twitter, August 2, 2018)

“Parties, meals of corruption, education, sounds like she is in an American college, only men are missing there! When I hear the conditions that this despicable terrorist experienced in prison, I understand why a terrorist in prison is costing us NIS 100,000 annually. The parties cost lots of money, believe me I know what I am talking about.”

Against Palestinian Poet Darin Tatour (who lives in Al-Reineh town inside Israel): Minister of Sports and Culture, MK (Likud) Miri Regev wrote on (Facebook, August 2, 2018)

“This is how we should act with anyone who transforms the freedom of speech into the freedom of incitement. I applaud the court’s decision against Darin Tatour, who was convicted of incitement to violence and supporting terrorism through her poems. Now she goes to the same place as those who asked to be martyrs and were arrested. It is good that she will be now behind the bars.”

IV. Against Palestinian Refugees

MK (Likud) Anat Berko ( Facebook , August 6, 2018)

“Stop the Palestinians lies”

The “return claim” is the next landmine that must be dismantled, President Trump and the Prime Minister Netanyahu are working on that!

For more than two years I have been working to abolish UNRWA, which consolidates the “Palestinian genetic asylum.” From every podium, I talk about the Palestinians’ desire to eradicate the State of Israel, also demographically.’ I have brought this matter to the attention of the Prime Minister. I met with European parliamentarians as well US senators and congressmen. I have even submitted a research document with photos of Nikki Hailey the Ambassador to the United Nations.

It is interesting to know that there is lack of knowledge regarding the existence of a refugees agency in the UN for all the refugees in the world, and for Palestinians there is a special agency – UNRWA, which became a human force company, a source of employment as well as an incitement source to Hamas. Therefore we must put an end to this. There is no “return,” because we will not commit suicide on the national level even if there are mad people who believe in this.

The nation-state law strengthens the identity of the State of Israel as the nation-state of the Jewish people.

There are many real refugees in the Middle East and we must help them.

Among the Palestinians, there are less than 20,000 real refugees. But look at this hypocrisy. Abu Mazen in his speech before the UN invented the number of six million in order to defy the Jewish people and harm the memorial of the holocaust.

After President Trump recognized Jerusalem as the capital of Israel, now it is time to say that the whole world is fed up with the Palestinian lie, and thus the abolition of UNRWA will be a correct step to attach Palestinians to the reality and annul the “claim of return”!”

V. Against President Mahmoud Abbas and the Palestinian Leadership

MK (Jewish Home) Moti Yogev (Twitter, August 16, 2018)

“It has been proven again that Abu Mazen and the Palestinian Authority were only a stumbling stone in the Gaza Strip and all the illusions of the left parties in Israel in regards to handing over Gaza Strip to the Palestinian authority is negative and unrealistic. In the Arab urban territories in Gaza, Arab leaders from Gaza should rule over.”

MK (Likud) Amir Ohana (TwitterAugust 15, 2018)

“So now, he is the one paying salaries and grants to the killers of the three months old Hadas Fogel, who was murdered (with most of her family) only because she is Jewish, he is campaigning against the nation-state law….”

MK (Likud)Yisrael Katz, ( Israel Hayom, August 13, 2018)

“Any attempt to restore Abbas to Gaza and connect Gaza to the Palestinian Authority in Judea and Samaria via a ‘secure corridor’ that will traverse Israel will present a direct threat to the security of Israel and the demographic balance between Israel and the Palestinians.”

VI. Against the Palestinian Citizens of Israel

MK (Likud) Anat Berko (Facebook, August 27, 2018)

“It is time to remove our gloves from the joint list. We start with the one who was the personal advisor of Yasser Arafat MK Ahmad Al-Tibi, Al-Tibi was in contact with our enemies in the world, despite that he serves as deputy Knesset head. It is clear for you that we are talking about an honorable position, I mean the deputy Knesset head. It is time to dismiss him from office! Al-Tibi and his colleagues continue to serve those between Ramallah and Jerusalem, and no doubt that there is “conflict of interests” between Palestinian parliament and Israeli parliament! The Joint list spares no time to announce its hatred to Israel and it works against it by speaking from every podium around the world. The Arab MKs use their diplomatic passports to participate in trips that call for boycotting Israel, it is time to boycott them as well.

I will work to dismiss MK Al-Tibi from his position, and I will also work against those opponents to the nation-state law, those who are working against it in the UN…I will also work to impose fine on them and harm their salaries…”

MK (Likud) Oren Hazan ( Facebook August 21, 2018)

“ I compared between the photos of the demonstration in Rabin square two weeks ago and those photos of the terrorist funeral held yesterday in Um Al-Fahem, the only difference is the location of the demonstration nothing else..share this video and prove to all that Um Al-Fahem is a nest of poisonous wasps full of warms living in the heart of the state. The government should impose its sovereignty by demolishing the house of the terrorist, expel his family and arrest all the inciters, and find a real solution to the germ of terrorism that is spreading among us.”

“Defense” Minister, Avigdor Lieberman (Facebook, August 21, 2018)

“You are still asking why Um Al-Fahem must be part of Palestine and not Israel? What we have seen yesterday of tens of youth participating in the funeral of the terrorist with Palestinian flags and chanting ‘with our souls and blood we will redeem you martyr’, is enough to answer your question, the plan that I have proposed some years ago, the land and population swap , is now more appropriate than ever”

Knesset Speaker, Yuli Edelstein (TwitterAugust 11, 2018)

“This evening it was proved again that the struggle led by Arab Knesset members is not against the nation-state law, but against the existence of the State of Israel. I regret to say that they are dragging the Arab Israeli public again into such an ugly inciting demonstration.”

MK (Likud) Miki Zohar (Twitter, August 11, 2018)

“The demonstration tonight shows us clearly that it was important and good to enact the nation-state law. It is now our duty to remove the flags of the enemy States to become outside the law.”

MK (Likud) Oren Hazan (Twitter, August 11, 2018)

“Anyone who has not understood the importance of the nation-state law should take a look today at the square that is full of hatred and will receive the answer. Tel Aviv was occupied and the flags of the Palestinian enemy were flapping in its center. This is a violation of Israel’s sovereignty and an incitement against the state. I call upon the Prime Minister as well as the defense minister to dispatch police units to Rabin square and remove the flags of terrorism and stop this contempt.”

Moshe Bogie Ya’alon, former “Defense” Minister ( Twitter, August 11, 2018)

“My flag is blue and white-the flag of Israel. Israel is the nation-state of the Jewish people- Jewish and democratic, whose Jewish citizens and minorities are equal. Minorities who wish to express their national identities should do that in the neighboring countries, where they can raise their flags. Israel has one flag: the Israeli flag.”

MK (Yisrael Beitenu) Oded Forer, (Twitter, August 11, 2018)

“[Tibi] has the support of the left, and while the state Israel pays him salary, he is working to negate its existence while the PLO flag flapping behind his back. Who raises this flag, supports a struggle against Israel and this cannot be a member of the Knesset. Therefore, Ahmad go and raise the flag in Gaza and give up your citizenship to which you belong here, and I am certain that you will enjoy yourself there”

Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu at the Israeli cabinet meeting, Yedioth Ahronoth via Israel News Today on August 13, 2018:

“We saw PLO flags being waved in the heart of Tel Aviv. We heard the calls: ‘in blood and fire we will redeem Palestine.’ Many of the demonstrators want to repeal the Law of Return, they want to cancel the national anthem, they want to fold up our flag and they want to cancel Israel as the nation state of the Jewish people and to turn it, as their spokespersons say, into an Israeli-Palestinian state while others say, a state of all its citizens. It’s precisely for this reason that we passed the nation-state law. We passed the law and we will keep this law.”

VII. Additional Examples

Against Jeremy Corbyn, The leader of UK’s Labour Party: MK (Yesh Atid) Yair Lapid (Twitter, August 11, 2018)

“If you believe Jeremy Corbyn when he says he thought he was at a Palestinian event for peace (and I don’t believe him for a second) then you also have to accept the fact that the Palestinians use ‘useful idiots’ from the radical left to advance their goal of terror and murder.”

Against the European Union States: MK (Jewish Home) Moti Yogev (Twitter, August 7, 2018)

“The Europeans are again working barefacedly behind the back of the State of Israel, against the Israeli interest, in order to establish a Palestinian state. But no worries, we will take advantage of this plan to promote the master plan of Judea and Samaria [Judea and Samaria], which would be accommodate Arabs and Jews under Israeli rule.”

Abbas Intends to Declare a ‘Palestinian State under Occupation’

Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas

Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas intends to declare the establishment of the Palestinian state, in one of the most important decisions he takes within a very short period of time, well-informed sources told Asharq Al-Awsat.

The sources confirmed that Abbas has informed Palestinian officials of the decision, and said he might make it at the next central council meeting, which is scheduled to be held after delivering his speech at the United Nations.

This month, Abbas will deliver a speech at the UN General Assembly where he will asked for full-fledged Palestinian membership and stress that the time has come for transferring the Palestinian Authority to a state.

The central council is set to meet in October at the latest.

The sources said that the president “intends to declare a Palestinian state under the occupation, after declaring that the Oslo Agreement is practically over.”

But Palestinian official Wassel Abu Youssef, a member of the Palestinian Liberation Organization’s Executive Committee, told Asharq Al-Awsat that the issue had not yet matured.

“As the Central Committee has decided, the agreements must now be eliminated, and this will necessarily mean the end of Oslo,” he said. “The end of Oslo means the end of both the transitional period and the role of the PA and turning it into a state… But frankly, this needs additional time… and mechanisms for implementation.”

The Palestinian Central Council set up a plan to confront the United States, beginning with a request for full membership in the United Nations, then suspending recognition of Israel and abandoning all agreements with it.

In order for a country to become a member state in the United Nations, it should be supported by nine of the 15 UN Security Council members, provided that the veto is not used by one or more of the five permanent members.

Palestine received an observer status at the United Nations in 2012, when 138 countries voted in favor of the draft resolution at the time, while nine opposed it and 41 abstained from voting.

We need clarification on Abbas’99 per cent agreement with Shin Bet

PA President Mahmoud Abbas with Israeli President Benjamin Netanyahu on September 2010

The Palestinian presidency was not expected to refute the quote published by Israel’s Yedioth Ahronoth newspaper. The newspaper quoted President Mahmoud Abbas’ remarks during his meeting with a delegation from the Israeli Peace Now movement. However, there were hopes that some members of the Palestinian Authority would refute some of what the Palestinian president said. I am not referring to what he said about the offer of a confederacy, which is not new, nor his remarks regarding his meetings with the head of the Shin Bet security service on more than one occasion and his boasting regarding security coordination with Israel.

There were hopes that someone would say something about his remarks regarding agreement with Shin Bet on 99 per cent of issues. According to the quote from the Israeli newspaper, he told his guests, “my problem is with Netanyahu, not with Likud. Netanyahu is against Trump’s proposal. I consistently meet with the heads of the Shin Bet – we agree on 99 per cent of the issues”.

I am certain that Abu Mazen or anyone from the PA could not deny these statements since they would be later accompanied by voice recordings that cannot be denied. However, the PA could have at least issued a clarification of how the president cannot have a problem with the Likud and how the problem is specifically with the Israeli Prime Minister, and how such a remark could be made when it spares the right-wing party from responsibility for adopting all of the laws that disregards the rights of the Palestinians.

The most recent of these laws is the racist Nation State bill, which targets the Palestinians in the territories, occupied in 1948. Instead he limits the problem to Netanyahu, as if the issue between the two was a difference in opinion, like the issue between any two Likud members, where affiliation with the party is not affected by the bilateral differences between members.

Read: Palestinians are dispensable as far as the PA is concerned

Even worse than the “no problem with Likud” part of the statement is the part about Abbas agreeing with the head of the Shin Bet on 99 per cent of issues. This statement was not denied nor was any statement made to clarify or explain it. What are the issues that they agree on? More importantly, what is the one per cent of issues that they disagree on? This one per cent certainly is not related to settlements, the right of return, the division of water, the exercise of the PA’s sovereignty over all of the territories occupied in 1967, which is what Abu Mazen is demanding, or rejecting the declaration of occupied Jerusalem as the capital of Israel.

These major issues may be larger than the one per cent of differences between Abbas and the head of the Shin Bet, so either the two sides are in agreement in this regard or that these issues are not included in the realm of agreement or disagreement between the two sides. Many tweeted that the “declaration of agreement” indicated Abbas’s agreement with his convictions regarding his relationship with the Israeli side. They mocked the disagreement between the two sides as merely being limited to the facilitation of the PA officials’ movement and revoking their VIP cards.

Far from cynicism, it is certain that the Palestinian president is very sure with his convictions, even if it puts him in the Israeli embrace or he is 99 per cent aligned with the Israeli security vision regarding how to deal with the Palestinians in the West Bank and Gaza Strip. Of course Abbas’s remarks about his understanding and agreement with the head of the Shin Bet is not related to the political process that he sanctifies, but to the security coordination, that is no less holy in his eyes, and which has put him on this level of understanding and harmony with the Israeli side, even if it is at the expense of the Palestinian people.

I wish there were a clarification issued by the PA, as perhaps it would preserve whatever shame is left.

Occupation forces fired gas bombs at the students in Hebron

HEBRON, PALESTINOW.COM — Israeli soldiers invaded, on Tuesday morning, the Schools Area in Hebron city, in the southern part of the occupied West Bank, leading to protests before the army fired rubber-coated steel bullets, gas bombs and concussion grenades, causing many to suffer the effects of teargas inhalation.

Medical sources in Hebron said the soldiers fired gas bombs at the students, and many surrounding buildings, especially near Tareq Bin Ziad School, and Hebron Elementary School, in the southern area of the city.

They added that many Palestinians suffered the effects of teargas inhalation, and received the needed treatment.

In addition, the soldiers assaulted several students and teachers of Hebron Elementary Schools, causing injuries, before firing gas bombs.

Why is Israel still part of the UN?

Israel has earned all the qualification to be named as a rogue nation more than any other what US President Donald Trump would describe as “shithole countries.”  Rogue nation is a term that describes a state that does not respect other states in its international actions.

On January 2015, Chris Wallace of Fox News admitted on air that “the Israeli leaders talked about wiping Iran off the face of the earth.”

Recently, speaking at Israel’s nuclear reactor in Dimona, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu threatened Iran of nuclear annihilation. By far, this makes it the most direct and explicit threat of nuclear annihilation ever mounted by an Israeli leader against Iran or any other enemy state.

Let’s also not forget that Lieberman, the Israeli war minister, has advocated dropping WMDs on Gaza and he threatened Palestinian citizens of Israel who do not swear allegiance to Israel that they should have their heads “chopped off by an axe.” When Lieberman served as Transportation Minister in 2003, he suggested drowning any released Palestinian prisoners by Israel in the Dead Sea and he promised to provide buses for transportation. Why does ISIS comes to mind?

In an April 2012 interview with Al Jazeera, Israel’s Deputy PM Dan Meridor admitted Iran DIDN’T threaten to wipe Israel out. He confessed that the then Iranian President Ahmadinejad was misquoted in 2005 and that he never said Israel must be wiped off the map. Nevertheless, Israel was able to dwell on it for seven years but never issued an apology for deliberately lying about it.

Threatening to attack Gaza or Iran is illegal and attacking either one with nuclear weapons would be a war crime. Where are the western leaders and media outrage that we saw after the Israeli faked and fabricated Iran’s threat to wipe out Israel?

Let’s examine the current major Israeli violations against its Arab neighbours: 1) The daily psychological impact on Iranians and Palestinians of being threatened to be bombed by Israeli jets to smithereens is tremendous, 2) the frequent Israeli air space violation over Lebanon which violates the UNSC Resolution 1701 that ended Israeli war on Lebanon in 2006, 3) the routine Israeli bombing of targets inside Syria for no reason and the 12 years of illegal and strangling Israeli siege imposed on 2 million Palestinians in Gaza.

All of the aforementioned violations and war crimes by Israel far exceed the alleged Nazi treatment of Jews during WWII. Above all, Israel has violated 40 UN Security Council and over 100 General Assembly Resolutions; could someone please tell me, why is Israel still part of the UN?
