Chase down activist

The Israeli occupation forces on Tuesday evening raked through Ramallah’s western village of Deir Abu Meshaal, in the central West Bank, as part of an abrupt sweep launched in the hunt for a Palestinian anti-occupation youth.

Israeli Special Forces broke into Deir Abu Meshaal in the hunt for 26-year-old Muneer Othman, affiliated with the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine.

The Israeli army patrols scoured residential neighborhoods, discharging heavy spates of rubber bullets and teargas canisters. A Palestinian youth was injured with rubber bullets in the attack.

According to local sources, the wanted activist managed to run away.
