Occupation forces arrest 38 Palestinians

The Israeli occupation forces damaged furniture of two houses in Jerusalem before arresting their owners

Israeli occupation forces arrested on Thursday 38 Palestinians in occupied West Bank and Jerusalem, Palestinian Prisoners’ Centre (PPC) reported.

The Palestinian human rights group Addameer, around 7,000 Palestinians are being currently imprisoned by the Israeli occupation as of January 2016, including 650 in administrative detention

Days of Palestine, West Bank -Israeli occupation forces arrested on Thursday 38 Palestinians in occupied West Bank and Jerusalem, Palestinian Prisoners’ Centre (PPC) reported.

According to a statement issued by the PPC, the Israeli occupation forces arrested 33 Palestinian citizens from different cities and neighbourhoods across the occupied West Bank.

“The Israeli occupation forces stormed Palestinian cities and neighbourhoods, broke into homes at night, searched them and kidnapped Palestinians citizens from their beds,” the statement said.

Meanwhile, the statement said that the Israeli occupation forces arrested five other Palestinian citizens from the occupied city of Jerusalem.

The PPC statement also stated that the Israeli occupation troops broke into the Palestinian homes at night, searched them and damaged the furniture of two houses before arresting five Palestinian citizens.

During the first half of February, the Israeli occupation forces carried out 103 search and arrest operations into the occupied West Bank, according to the UN’s Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs.
