GAZA, (PIC)– The Jihad Movement stressed Tuesday that it supports the formation of a national unity government without taking part in this government. Member of the Movement’s political bureau Nafez Azzam told Quds Press that his group has made great efforts for “the restoration of Palestinian house”. “We are really satisfied by the progress made in Fatah and Hamas dialogue”, he added. Although Jihad Movement was not officially informed of the dialogue results, yet it strongly supports any efforts made to put an end to the confusion that is gripping the Palestinian arena, according to his statements. Jihad supports, Azzam continued, the formation of a national unity government without taking part in this government. “However, we will make all possible efforts in order to stabilize the Palestinian internal relations and to ease the Palestinian people’s suffering”. The Hamas and Fatah Movements have started Tuesday in Doha a new round of talks to execute the reconciliation agreements, to form a national unity government, and to address the obstacles preventing their achievement.
