GAZA, (PIC)– Israeli warplanes struck Palestinian resistance sites in the blockaded Gaza Strip overnight Tuesday, allegedly after a rocket fired from the Strip landed in an adjacent Israeli settlement.
A PIC news reporter said that an Israeli warplane fired two missiles into a Palestinian resistance site in al-Maghazi refugee camp, in central Gaza Strip.
Two explosions were heard in the area while Israeli warplanes had been hovering over the territory.
A while later, another Israeli strike hit a resistance site to the west of Gaza City.
The Israeli occupation army claimed the strikes were launched in response to an earlier rocket fired from Gaza on Tuesday evening.
