Israeli settlers vandalize Joseph’s Tomb in Nablus

NABLUS, (PIC)– Hundreds of Israeli fanatics, backed by armed officers, at dawn Thursday stormed Joseph’s Tomb in the northern occupied West Bank province of Nablus.

Eye-witnesses told the PIC that hordes of Israeli extremist settlers onboard buses flocked to Joseph’s Tomb, amid heavy escort by the Israeli occupation forces.

The Israeli fanatics and soldiers withdrew from the area after performing a set of sacrilegious rituals.

Joseph’ Tomb has long been a flashpoint for violence between the inhabitants and the extremist Israeli settlers.

Israeli fanatics claim the site represents the burial place of the biblical patriarch Joseph. Muslims, however, challenge this claim, saying an Islamic preacher – Sheikh Yussef Dawiqat – was buried at the site two centuries ago—a version corroborated by extensive historical data.
