RAMALLAH, (PIC)– Over 200 Palestinians were injured by Israeli gunfire and tear gas in violent clashes that broke out in Ramallah and Bireh, Jerusalem, al-Khalil, Nablus, Bethlehem, Qalqilya and Tulkarem on Wednesday.
Palestinian medical sources have recorded, until 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday, 30 injuries by Israeli live bullets, 85 by rubber bullets, 70 injuries due to suffocation by tear gas, and 20 injuries due to falling down as a result of being chased by Israeli soldiers.
The injuries included a Palestinian youngster who was shot by a live bullet in the chest in Ramallah. His condition is very serious.
Since the beginning of October, 2015, the number of injuries that were treated by the Palestinian Red Crescent has reached 9,536 including 8,593 in the West Bank and Occupied Jerusalem, and 943 in Gaza Strip.
