Israeli occupation forces arrest 50 Palestinians in West Bank

In a fierce arrest campaign, Israeli occupation forces arrested on Sunday morning at least 50 Palestinian from occupied West Bank, most of them from Al-Khalil.

Our sources said that a large number of the Israeli occupation troops raided Al-Khalil in the early morning at broke into the homes of Palestinian civilians, most of them former prisoners.

The Israeli occupation forces arrested the Palestinians from their homes in Al-Khalil towns of Dura, Yatta, al-Dahriyeh, Bani Naim, Beit Ummar, Sair and Sourif, as well as al-Arroub refugee camp.

Meanwhile, the Israeli occupation forces arrested four Palestinians from Bethlehem and one from the northern West Bank city of Tulkarm.

Israeli intelligence official in Al-Khalil said that those who were arrested are Hamas leaders and members and they had contacted their counterparts in Gaza.

Previously, Israeli officials have warned Palestinian MPs and former ministers in the occupied West Bank of making relations with Fatah as in preparation for possible unity between Hamas and Fatah in Gaza and West Bank.
