Occupied Palestine (QNN)- The spokesman for the Palestinian government Ibrahim Melhem announced that six new coronavirus cases have been detected in the villages of Artas, Hizma, Qubeibeh, and southern Bethlehem, bringing the total to 97 including 18 recoveries and one death.
Melhem stated in a press conference that the new infections happened due to the violation of social distancing, calling citizens to avoid visits to decrease the spread of the virus.
Melhem warned that the lives of Palestinian prisoners in Israeli jails are in danger due to the Israeli ill-treatment and poor hygiene inside the jails.
He added that the government is doing everything possible to help Palestinians in occupied Jerusalem but it doesn’t have clear information about the situation in the city due to the Israeli restrictions.
