Two Palestinians have been subjected to heavy beating by the Israeli occupation forces prior to their detention, the Palestinian Prisoners Society (PPS) said on Wednesday.
A PPS lawyer said an Israeli patrol stormed the home of the Palestinian citizen Dar Zeid at the crack of dawn on May 2 and violently beat him after they chained him. Shortly afterwards, he was dragged to the Mascoubiya detention center.
27-year-old Firas Merar had also been made to endure aggressive beating as he passed through the Container checkpoint at 07:00 a.m. on May 18 before he was arrested and locked up in Etzion jail.
