Israeli Soldiers Attack The Weekly Procession In Ni’lin

Israeli soldiers attacked, Friday, the weekly nonviolent procession against the Annexation Wall and Colonies in Ni’lin village, near of the central West Bank city of Ramallah.

Mohammad Amira, a member of the Popular Committee against the Annexation Wall and Colonies in Ni’lin, said dozens of protesters marched towards the wall, which separates them from their lands and orchards, while carrying Palestinian flags and chanting for independence.

He added that the protesters carried olive saplings to plant them near the Wall, and called for the liberation of all detainees, including Fateh leader, legislator Marwan Barghouthi, who was abducted by the army on April 15, 2002, and was sentenced to five life terms and additional forty years, in prison.

Amira stated that the procession also marked the thirtieth anniversary of the Israeli assassination of Fateh leader Khalil al-Wazir, in Tunisia.

The soldiers attacked the protesters with gas bombs and concussion grenades, instantly after reaching the gate of the Annexation Wall.

It is worth mentioning that the soldiers also attacked the weekly nonviolent processions in Bil’in nearby village, and Kufur Qaddoum, near the northern West Bank city of Qalqilia.

The soldiers also shot one Palestinian with live fire at the northern entrance of al-Biereh city, in central West Bank.

In Nablus, in northern West Bank, the soldiers shot one Palestinian with live fire, four with rubber-coated steel bullets, and caused six others to suffer the effects of teargas inhalation in Kufur Qalil town, south of the city.

Health Ministry: “17 Medics Among 701 Palestinians, Injured In Gaza”

The Palestinian Health Ministry has reported that Israeli soldiers injured, Friday, seventeen medics, after the army deliberately targeted field clinics with gas bombs, east of Khan Younis, in the southern part of the Gaza Strip. 701 Palestinians injured by army fire in the Gaza Strip.

The Ministry stated that the army targeted the clearly marked field clinics, causing seventeen medics to suffer the effects of tear gas inhalation, along with dozens of Palestinians, who were receiving treatment there.

It said that the medics will always provide the needed treatment to all wounded Palestinians despite the ongoing and escalating Israeli violations against them, in direct violation of International Law.

The Ministry also called on the international community to take a decisive and firm stance condemning Israel’s escalating violations, and to provide the urgently needed protection to the Palestinian people, and to ensure an end to the violations against the medics and all medical facilities.

It stated that the seventeen medics were among 701 Palestinians, including journalists, who were injured by Israeli army fire. 163 of the wounded Palestinians were shot with live ammunition.

296 of the wounded were rushed to various hospitals and medical center in the coastal region.

Among the wounded is a journalist identified as Ahmad Abu Hussein, who was seriously shot in the abdomen, and Mohammad Najjar, who was shot in the shoulder.

Many other journalists fainted after inhaling gas fired by the army, especially when army drones fired gas bombs at media vehicles and reporters.

Two protesters injured in clashes near Nablus


NABLUS, April 13, 2018 (WAFA) – Two Palestinian protesters were injured on Friday evening in clashes with Israeli forces in the village of Luban e-Sharqia, to the south of Nablus in the West Bank, according to local sources.

WAFA correspondent said Israeli forces used live fire, rubber-coated rounds and teargas to disperse the protesters, injuring one of them with gunfire and another one with rubber-coated rounds. Others also suffocated from teargas inhalation.

Israeli terrorists set fire to a mosque and wrote racist slogans on its walls

A group of Israeli terrorists “Settlers” tried to set fire on mosque at Aqraba village south of Nablus today friday dawn according to local Palestinian sources.

The incident took place in the village of Aqraba, north of Nablus, and saw the words “Death” and “Price tag” daubed on the mosque’s external walls. No one was hurt in the incident.

The damage to the mosque was limited and locals said that because it did not have a large carpet as is sometimes customary the entire structure did not catch fire.

In a security camera recording of the incident, two vandals “settlers” wearing hoodies can be seen starting the fire and fleeing the scene.

Residents told Journalists that this is not the first time this mosque has been targeted, and they claimed another attempt to set it on fire took place five years ago.

The residents also said Israeli settlers are the ones who carried out the burning attempt to the mosque adding that the slogans they wrote on its walls approve that.
