Israeli soldiers on Tuesday evening threatened to tighten the noose around Palestinians’ neck in Ramallah’s towns of Deir Qidis and Kharbatha Bani Hareth, in the central occupied West Bank.
According to local sources, Israeli army patrols handed over the locals notifications to close off access roads, crack down on free movement, and step up arbitrary abductions against them in response to protest moves and anti-occupation activities staged in the area.
As part of retaliatory measures against the locals, the occupation forces fenced off on Tuesday evening the eastern entrance to Ramallah’s northern town of Senjel with a metal gate.
Over recent weeks, at least 16 Palestinians were killed and 4,000 injured in clashes with the Israeli occupation forces which have been sparked by the U.S. President Donald Trump’s recognition of Occupied Jerusalem as Israel’s capital.
