Israeli forces arrest Palestinian child in Salem camp in Jenin

Salem camp

The Israeli occupation forces on Sunday afternoon arrested a Palestinian boy while he was trying to enter Salem court complex in Salem military camp to the west of Jenin city.

Local sources told the PIC reporter that tension prevailed inside Salem camp after the Israeli guards, who were searching Palestinian prisoners’ families at the entrance to the courtroom, stopped the boy and arrested him.

They added that the guards handcuffed the 16-year-old Nedal al-Amer, who is a resident of Jenin refugee camp, and took him to an unknown destination claiming that a homemade bomb was found in his possession.

Many Palestinian children have been arrested recently in the same place under various pretexts.
