BETHLEHEM, (PIC)– The two imprisoned brothers Mohamed and Mahmoud al-Balboul, from Bethlehem, declared an open-ended hunger strike in protest against their administrative detention. Family sources affirmed that the two brothers decided to launch a hunger strike protesting against the Israeli administrative detention policy according to which they are held without charge or trial. Immediately after their arrest on June 9, they were placed under administrative detention for six and five months. Their sister Nurhan was also arrested two months ago while on her way to al-Aqsa Mosque, and she was sentenced to four months imprisonment. Their father Ahmed al-Balboul was assassinated several years ago by Israeli occupation forces in Bethlehem.
