Fragmentation of Muslim states, Zionism plot: Analyst

A political analyst has warned against the global Zionism’s agenda to fragment Muslim countries into small segments in an attempt to boost the US and Israel’s supremacy.

“Part of the agenda is to reduce Muslim states to small ethnic or sectarian-based states, divided, powerless, so they cannot challenge the supremacy of the United States and Israel in the region,” Jahangir Mohammed, the Director of Center for Muslim Affairs told Press TV on Sunday.

The analyst noted that Washington and Tel Aviv’s agenda has focused on “fragmentation or the segmentation of Muslim nations” as it is taking place in Iraq, Lebanon and Syria and happened in Sudan.

Mohammed pointed out that the US and Israel are being aided in their scenario by some of the Middle East rulers, “who are pawns in this game.”

The analyst called on the Muslim world to root out the hatred that Zionism is inciting among Islamic groups and said, “A divided Muslim world is a powerless one, we will be killed, we will be slaughtered.”

Extremism and violence have become a major challenge facing the Muslim countries, with Pakistan, Afghanistan, Iraq, Syria, Lebanon, Yemen and other Middle Eastern nations turning into the scenes of deadly terrorist operations on a daily basis.

On December 18, 2013, the General Assembly overwhelmingly voted to approve Iranian President Hassan Rouhani’s World Against Violence and Extremism (WAVE) proposal, which calls on all nations across the globe to denounce violence and extremism. The Iranian president made the proposal in his address to the UN Disarmament Conference in New York on September 25.
