Al-Khalil, (PIC)– A number of Palestinians were injured in confrontations with invading IOF troops in the village of Beit Kahel to the north west of al-Khalil.
Sources in the village said that a number of young people suffered breathing difficulty as a result of breathing teargas fired by IOF troops at worshipers after they finished the Friday prayers.
The sources said that the clashes with IOF took place as a result of provocations by the invading IOF troops which raided the village as worshippers were coming out of mosques after the Friday prayers.
Meanwhile, a photo-journalist and dozens of protesters suffered breathing difficulties as a result of breathing teargas used by the IOF during its suppression of the weekly anti-wall demonstration which was this week under the motto “We are all martyr Mustafa al-Tamimi.”
IOF troops fired rubber coated bullets at protestors, in addition to their use of teargas and stun grenades when the march reached the land of Abu Laimoun near the wall. Photojournalist Rateb Abu Rahmah (20 years) and dozens of protesters suffered serious breathing difficulties.
In the village of al-Ma’sara, the IOF also suppressed the weekly anti-wall anti-settlement demonstration which also was dedicated to martyr Mustafa al-Tamimi from the village of Nabi Saleh who was killed by the IOF a couple of days ago.
Spokesman for the popular committee to resist the wall and settlement in Bethlehem Muhammad Bteijeh said that the IOF troops supressed the demonstration and prevented demonstrators from reaching the site of the apartheid wall.
